The 19-year-old has hit the headlines since last week after being dropped from the squad to face Ajax on Sunday.
Ihattaren’s attitude has been questioned with various reports stating he now only has one last chance with head coach Roger Schmidt. However, PSV are still trying to get the talented midfielder to sign a new deal at the club.
After a turbulent few days, Ihattaren returned to training with the PSV Eindhoven squad on Wednesday. The club’s players had Monday and Tuesday off, but are now preparing for Sunday’s clash with Fortuna Sittard.
It remains to be seen whether Ihattaren will be involved.
