During the summer, Ajax were linked with a move for the 18-year-old with Marc Overmars confirming he was an interesting player for the club.
Speaking to RTL and Videoland programme Andy not te Vermeijde, which is hosted by Andy van der Meyde, Ihattaren was asked about a potential move to PSV’s biggest rivals.
Ihattaren would not rule it out if he received a record fee for PSV, “You never know how it will turn out. I think Ajax is a great club. But the fans will not accept it.
“I definitely want to do something in return for the club. I like PSV. It’s my club, you know? If they pay thirty million? As long as it’s a record.”
PSV’s record transfer is the €40 million received from Napoli for Hirving Lozano.
