Feyenoord were always going to have a tough time keeping hold of Karsdorp this summer and it appears that a move to Italy is coming closer if reports in the Gazetta dello Sport are to be believed.
Roma have reportedly offered Feyenoord €12 million but that offer has been trumped by Inter Milan, who have lodged a bid with an extra €3 million. Feyenoord are looking to hold out for €18 million for the Dutch international, which should be no problem for Inter, who are now boosted by Chinese investments.
Should Inter or Roma fail to capture Karsdorp, both clubs will then target Kenny Tete, who is set to leave Ajax.
Yes at some point he will be sold. But no need to rush. he just signed an extension and belongs to Feyenoord through 2021. The price should be 25million euros or no sale. Maybe 30. Then bring in 3-4 more quality players. Dutch clubs need to stop giving away their players at bargin prices.
Agreed. Feyenoord should feel no pressure to sell him so soon after an extension. In addition for this year he will have CL football at Feyenoord, something he won’t get at Inter, so that should be incentive for Karsdorp to stay – he can boost his value with some good performances in the CL.
Our players need to stop leaving so bloody early. That’s why Memphis’ progress slowed. He should have stayed at PSV for at least another two years. It’s part of why our player development is in decline and our national team is where it is. We need our players staying in the Eredivisie a bit longer than they are, that way when they leave, they are ready to play for the bigger clubs in the better leagues. Right now, Robben is still the only one playing an important role for a world class club, and aside from maybe Virgil van Dijk if he moves to Man City, I don’t see anyone else getting to that point anytime soon.
