According to reports in both the Netherlands and Spain, Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek is on his way to Real Madrid next summer.

The Dutch international was heavily linked with a move to the Spanish giants last summer but instead he chose to remain in Amsterdam for another season.

This month, Manchester United have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old, but according to De Telegraaf chief sports reporter Valentijn Driessen, the Red Devils are wasting their time.

Driessen told Veronica that Van de Beek’s move to Real Madrid is a done deal and it will go ahead next summer.

Spanish newspaper Marca is also reporting that only a signature is stopping the deal from being announced. Ajax will reportedly receive €55 million.
