According to Voetbal International, AZ Alkmaar could lose talented midfielder Mohamed Taabouni in January.

The 18-year-old was recently named the top talent in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie’s first period, and has scored seven times this season for Jong AZ.
However, Taabouni has only made one appearance for the first-team, last season in the KNVB Cup. He has not even been sitting on the bench for Arne Slot’s side.
According to VI, Taabouni is growing frustrated at his lack of opportunities in Alkmaar, and could now leave with clubs from Spain and Italy now interested in signing the Netherlands U17 international.
Taabouni still has a contract with AZ Alkmaar until 2022.
