jahansThe Frisians believe that the asking price of €2 million for the Iranian is too expensive, and they will now explore other targets before the transfer window shuts next week.

This is what Heerenveen technical director, Hans Vonk told FOX Sports, “Alireza is interesting, but probably too expensive. We have a budget that we like to keep ourselves within”

“Moreover, the intended reinforcement should be better than we have been running around. All that is playing with these things.”

Having joined NEC in 2013 from Damash Gilan, Jahanbakhsh has scored six goals in thirty league matches for the now Eerste Divisie club. He also represented Iran at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup.
