Daryl Janmaat has been one of Newcastle United’s standout players in a disappointing season, and according to the Express a number of clubs are looking to sign the former Feyenoord star this summer.

Janmaat has been Newcastle’s stand-out player this season, and may only spend one season with the Magpies, after being heavily linked with Southampton, while Liverpool and Manchester United have also been credited with interest. Newcastle may be able to double their investment after just one year, with the attack-minded right wingback given a £10 million price tag.
With four games left, Newcastle are just 5 points above the relegation zone, and given their form of late, many pundits have been saying they may end the season in a fight to stay in the Premier League. Part of their misfortune has been bad luck – captain Siem De Jong has missed nearly the whole season through multiple injuries, and midseason manager Alan Pardew left for Crystal Palace, being replaced by the questionable John Carver.
Should Janmaat end up at either Southampton or Manchester United, he likely wouldn’t be the only incoming Dutchman. Manchester United has both Robin Van Persie and Daley Blind on the payroll, with Memphis Depay likely to join. Southampton currently has Eljero Elia on loan, though unlikely to become permanent. However, Fellow Magpie Tim Krul, Maarten Stekelenberg, Tonny Vilhena and Jordy Clasie have all been linked with moves to the club led by Ronald Koeman.
