Ron Jans will remain head coach of FC Twente until the end of next season after he signed a new contract.

Jans took over at FC Twente in the summer and the club are having an excellent season so far. After 11 games, FC Twente sits fifth.
FC Twente has now announced that Jans has extended his contract by a year until the summer of 2022. Technical director Jan Streuer has also signed a new deal.
Jans told the club website, “When I arrived at FC Twente in the summer, I saw it as a wonderful challenge to offer the club, together with the new staff, perspective again. I thought this is a nice job, this is what we are going to do. I have not regretted that decision for a moment. It is wonderful to work with this staff. From the first day I enjoy it to the full, just as I enjoy the contact with the players. We have a really great group.”
