janssen azfdfgVincent Janssen put Feyenoord to the sword on Sunday with a hat-trick, and the striker continued his fine form against Cambuur with a goal in the first minute. Dabney Dos Santos was far too quick for Tom Hiarej and the winger’s cross was stabbed in by Jansen.

Ten minutes after the opener Joris van Overeem doubled the home side’s lead with a nice finish past Leonard Nienhuis, before Dos Santos set up Janssen for his second and AZ’s third on 20 minutes.

AZ could have added more goals before the break, but both Janssen and Van Overeem missed decent chances, while at the other end Martijn Barto struck the post.

With twenty minutes left Barto did find the net for Cambuur, but it proved nothing but a consolation as AZ comfortable held on. The win lifts AZ to ninth, while Cambuur remain second bottom.
