Vincent Janssen has described his goal against England on Tuesday as one of the greatest moments of his life.

JA ENGThe 21-year-old AZ striker was preferred over Klaas jan Huntelaar to make his first Netherlands start on Tuesday and rewarded Danny Blind for his faith, netting the equaliser and assisting the winner as the Oranje won 2-1 at Wembley.

The performance marks an incredible year for Janssen, who has rose from the Dutch second division to become the Eredivisie top scorer this season, and now a full international.

Speaking after the game, Janssen told ANP, “If you know where I come from, this is almost unbelievable. This is one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

“What a night. This I will never forget.”
