Lens is currently on loan with Fenerbahce from Sunderland, who were recently relegated to the English Championship. A return to England seems off the cards and the attacker is reportedly keen on a stay in Turkey.
According to AD, Feyenoord are also interested as they take account of the possible departures of Steven Berghuis and Eljero Elia. The move may be a non-starter, though, with Lens potential transfer fee and wages far too much for the Eredivisie champions.
AD states that Feyenoord couldn’t even afford a quarter of the wages that Lens is currently on. Giovanni van Bronckhorst may have to look elsewhere to strengthen his attack.
