After confirming the appointment of Alan Pardew, ADO Den Haag have also announced the arrival of Martin Jol as a technical adviser.

The 63-year-old has had spells as a player and head coach at ADO Den Haag and was also a member of their supervisory board between 2015 and 2017.

Jol now returns to The Hague to work as a technical adviser to try and help the club rise out of the Eredivisie relegation zone.

General manager Mohammed Hamdi told the ADO website,”Martin is one of the most prominent Dutch trainers. And also a football monument in The Hague. It’s fantastic that he, together with Alan Pardew and the rest of the staff, wants to do everything to get ADO Den Haag out of this awkward position.

“I am confident that they can get the job done. After all, together they have more than five hundred matches of experience as manager-coach in the Premier League, the strongest competition in the world. “
