Utrecht have confirmed that Dennis Haar will join the club from next season as assistant to John van den Brom.

The 42-year-old is currently head coach of Jong PSV but his contract expires at the end of the season.

Haar will then move to Utrecht as an assistant coach to John van den Brom, who was confirmed as the club’s new head coach last month.

Utrecht technical director Jordy Zuidam told the club’s website, “We are happy that we were able to convince Dennis to get back to work as John van den Brom’s assistant trainer. The goals and ambitions at FC Utrecht played an important role in Dennis’ choice for our club. He sees the potential of the club and believes in it.”

Haar and van den Brom worked together at AZ Alkmaar before he took up his position with Jong PSV two years ago.
