Peter Bosz is without injured wingers Vaclav Cerny and Bertand Traore for the trip to Enschede on Sunday, and the coach has decided to hand Justin Kluivert a call-up to replace them.
The 17-year-old, son of former Ajax great Patrick Kluivert, has already made his debut for Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie this season, scoring once in three appearances.
Any debut is likely to come from the bench for Kluivert, who played the full game as Jong Ajax beat Jong PSV 1-0 on Friday evening.
What about Van de Beek? Or is this just a vain attempt by Blind and co. to get publicity that they are trying something new and exciting. Van De Beek on for Klassen with 5 to 10 minutes to go is the better forward thinking option.
