While it may not be an easy deal to complete, Juventus have reportedly submitted a bid, thought to be around €30 Million for Kevin Strootman. Roma sporting director Monchi said they have no interest in selling the midfielder, and Strootman often remarks how happy he is at the club and how much he appreciates them supporting him through a bad injury spell, he’s unlikely to force a move.

Juve also have their sites on German Liverpool midfielder Emre Can. Strootman has also been linked with Manchester United in the past, but never seemed to take much interest in their pursuit of him.

Strootman joined Roma from PSV in 2013, and has made 68 appearances, missing much of the 2014 and 2015 campaigns through injury. This summer, former Feyeonord defender Rick Karsdorp joined his international compatriot siting Strootman’s influence and presence as a big reason he decided to make the move – another signal Strootman does not plan on leaving the Italian giants anytime soon.

I'm a digital/social marketer out of Chicago. I grew up loving Dutch football - total football is the only way to play. I support PSV in the Eredivisie, and whatever team has the most Dutch guys on it in any other league. Hup Holland Hup!
