Ferdi Kadioglu was finally handed his first start for Fenerbahce on Tuesday. The midfielder scored and assisted in a comfortable 4-0 win over Istanbulspor.

The Netherlands U21 international has had to be patient ever since joining the Turkish side from NEC Nijmegen in the summer of 2018.
Kadioglu has made five substitute appearances for Fenerbahce in the Super Lig, scoring once and adding one assist so far.
However, on Tuesday the midfielder finally got his chance to start in the cup game against Istanbulspor. Kadioglu set up former Go Ahead Eagles midfielder Deniz Turuc to open the scoring in the fifteenth minute. Shortly afterwards, Kadioglu found the net himself to make it 2-0.
Kadioglu continued to impress throughout the match and played the full ninety minutes as it finished 4-0. The midfielder will now be hoping to be given more chances as the season progresses.
