According to De Telegraaf, Groningen are set to lose defender Johan Kappelhof to MLS side Chicago Fire.

The 25-year-old will travel to the USA this weekend to conclude talks with Chicago Fire, after a fee was agreed with Groningen on Friday.
Kappelhof joined Groningen from the Ajax academy back in 2011, and has made 123 Eredivisie appearances for the club, scoring three goals. This season he has played eighteen league games, scoring once.
