According to various reports, Feyenoord and Roma are close to an agreement for the 22-year-old, who will sign a five-year deal in the Italian capital. The fee will reportedly be around €12 million plus bonuses.
Corriere dello sport is reporting that Karsdorp is currently in Italy to undergo his medical examinations, and the deal could be confirmed tonight.
Karsdorp made his debut for the Feyenoord first team in 2014 and has went on to make 97 appearances, scoring once. He also has two caps for the Dutch national team.
He will be the second Roma signing from Netherlands this summer with Hector Moreno joining from PSV last week.
If Karsdorp leaves as we all expected, not a surprise. But if all Feyenoord get for him is 12 million plus bonuses, then Van Geel or whoever is in charge of selling should be fired! Karsdorp should get 20-25 million. If not then don’t sell. Stop giving away good young talent for discount prices. He is under contract and the club does not have to sell. Stop acting like a little fish. Feyenoord is not!
He won’t go for 12 probably 18-19
