NEC Nijmegen v Dordrecht
NEC managed to pick up their first win on Monday away at Jong Utrecht. They will now be hoping that’s the first of many this season as they push for a return to the top flight. The home side will be clear favourites for this. Dordrecht are still without a win. 2-0 | NEC To Win
MVV Maastricht v Go Ahead Eagles
Go Ahead have started the season in fine style and will want to keep their 100% record running here. It won’t be easy for them but if they continue to play the same attacking football we’ve seen from them so far you wouldn’t bet against them. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 1-1 | Both Teams To Score
FC Twente v Roda JC
Possibly the tie of the round in Enschede. Both sides are still unbeaten going into this but Roda sit joint top with wins from both of their games. I expect both teams to score here and it could easily go either way. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 2-1
Volendam v Jong AZ
Both sides still sit on zero points going into the third round of matches. It’s a tough one to call as Jong AZ have not played that badly so far. I’m going to go for a draw here. 1-1
Jong PSV v Helmond Sport
Jong PSV took a hammering from Oss last week, while Helmond picked up a respectable point at home to title favourites Twente. I’m expecting another close encounter here but am going to go with PSV by just a goal. 1-0 | Under 1.5 Goals
Oss v Cambuur
Another cracking game here and I expect plenty of goals between them. Oss have won both their matches so far while Cambuur sit on four points. I think Cambuur will have a solid season and take the three points here. 1-3 | Both Score No Draw
Telstar v Jong Utrecht
Jong Utrecht have been the worst side in the division so far, and ultimately they sit bottom. Telstar themselves have had a poor start losing both games. They will be disappointed by not yet being able to build on last season’s impressive showing. 2-1
Den Bosch v Jong Ajax
Jong Ajax responded well last week after their opening game defeat to Roda. They now face Den Bosch who have started okay. Another game where I expect to see many goals scored. I think Ajax will take the three points but it will be close. 2-3 | Over 3.5 Goals
FC Eindhoven v Almere
Eindhoven have had a poor start after losing both games, it looks like another long season could be coming after last seasons similar poor showing. I put Almere down as my dark horses this year and they haven’t played too badly so far. I’m going to go for a draw here. 1-1
Waalwijk v Sparta Rotterdam
This should be another competitive match. Waalwijk still have a 100% record while Sparta picked up their first win last week at home to Volendam. Another tie which could go either way however I think the away side will pick up some consistency after getting that first victory. 0-2
