Friday 7th September (19:00 BST)

Almere v MVV Maastricht

I can only see this going one way and that is a win for the home side. They picked up a solid away win at FC Eindhoven last week which proved they again want to be fighting towards the top half of the table. MVV however, put in a good shift against the Eagles but fell short. 2-0 | Almere to win

Go Ahead Eagles v Volendam

Go Ahead are flying right now and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. They face Volendam who are still without a win this season and are lacking any sort of form. This should be another comfortable win for them here in Deventer. 3-1 | Go Ahead to win

Dordrecht v Telstar

Dordrecht played well against NEC last week but didn’t manage to take anything from the game. Where as Telstar picked up their first win of the campaign and will now want to push on up the table. This is a close one which could go either way so I’m going for a draw. 1-1

Cambuur v Waalwijk

Both sides have started well, but especially Cambuur who are on seven points from a possible nine. Their performance away at Oss last week who had won both their games was very promising to say the least. I expect another three points from them here. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 2-1

Sparta Rotterdam v FC Eindhoven

Sparta have managed to put their opening day defeat to Twente behind them by picking up back to back wins since. On the other hand, Eindhoven are still without a point and this will not get any easier for them by playing a solid side such as Sparta. I can only see this going one way. 3-0 | Sparta over 2.5 goals

Helmond Sport v Den Bosch

Helmond have drawn all three games so far and will fancy themselves to pick up their first win here and remain unbeaten. Den Bosch have had a half decent start and sit on four points. I think this will be close but the Helmond should have enough. 1-0

Jong Utrecht v Jong PSV

Jong Utrecht sit bottom of the table on zero points and only one goal scored so far this season. They face Jong PSV now who have looked average so far. This could be a scrappy game with plenty of goals. 2-3 | Over 3.5 goals

Saturday 8th September (17:30 BST)

FC Twente v TOP Oss

Twente sit joint 2nd now and have started the season strongly. They have now taken three points off fellow title favourites Sparta and Roda JC. Oss have also started the season well but it will be hard for them to avoid back to back defeats here in Enschede. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 3-1 | Twente to win

Saturday 8th September (19:45 BST)

Roda JC v NEC Nijmegen

This is my tie of the round between two sides who I expect will be in the top four come the end of the season. Roda will be disappointed after losing their 100% record last week, while NEC still remains unbeaten and on seven points. I’m going for a Roda win simply down to the home advantage. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 2-1 | Both score no draw

Monday 10th September (19:00 BST)

Jong AZ v Jong Ajax

Jong AZ are still without a win while Jong Ajax have had an inconsistent start compared to last time round. Both sides will believe they can win this but I’m going for Ajax to take this one. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 0-2
