RKC Waalwijk v Roda JC

This should be an interesting one since both sides come here off back to back defeats. Another one for Roda would be disastrous and potentially see them already nine points off top stop. I see them responding well here though and will do enough for the three points. 1-2

Dordrecht v FC Twente

Twente were shocked last week at De Grolsch Veste after being beaten 2-1 by Oss. It was their first defeat of the season and a huge reality check. They now travel to Dordrecht who have had a dreadful start, only picking up a single point. Twente need to find some consistency now and it may well start here. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 1-2 | Both Teams To Score

FC Eindhoven v MVV Maastricht

Eindhoven sit rock bottom on zero points heading into the fifth game week. MVV haven’t looked the most promising either so expect a scrappy affair here. I think it will be a close one with either side having chances to take the game. 1-1

Cambuur v Telstar

Cambuur have made a flying start sitting second behind Go Ahead. They have played with excellent attacking flair which opposing sides have failed to stop. Telstar themselves picked up a great result last week, hammering Dordrecht 4-1 away from home. I think it’ll be a close encounter for sure. 1-1

Jong AZ v Go Ahead Eagles

I’m sure nobody would’ve thought Go Ahead would be sat on twelve points after the opening four matches. The turn around they’ve managed so far is incredible after last seasons poor showing. They have netted twelve goals in just four games conceded only twice. Nothing seems to be stopping them and I can’t see Jong AZ being a problem for the away side. 0-2

Volendam v TOP Oss

Oss supporters will remember last weeks win for a long time, it was a superb display from them in particular in defence. They now sit on nine points which is an impressive start. Volendam haven’t started the best but I think will pick up at least a point here. 2-2

Almere City v Jong Utrecht

Almere will want to pick up some form here against a relatively poor Utrecht side. They should find this comfortable on paper however the away side picked up their first win last week which could give them a huge confidence boost. 2-1

NEC Nijmegen v Jong PSV

NEC have been playing very well and have now won three on the spin. I will be surprised if they don’t make that four against Jong PSV. If I was to bet now on who would win the division it would be NEC, they have experience from last year in this league, something which other contenders such as Sparta and Twente don’t have. 3-0 | NEC to win

Sunday 16th September (13:30 BST)

Sparta Rotterdam vs Den Bosch

Sparta have made a solid start to life back in the Eerste Divisie with three wins from four. Den Bosch have also made a half decent start sitting in ninth. I expect this to be a close encounter with little goals. 1-0 | Under 2.5 Goals

Monday 17th September (19:00 BST)

Jong Ajax v Helmond Sport

Helmond are still without a win after drawing their opening three and losing last week. Jong Ajax will be hoping for three points to string together some much needed form to be able to compete at the top. I expect the home side to net a few here. 3-1 | Ajax Over 2.5 Goals
