Ricardo Kishna made his first appearance in three years as ADO Den Haag drew 1-1 with Heerenveen.

Kishna last appeared on a pitch back in September 2017 for ADO Den Haag against Ajax, with an injury holding him back since. On Saturday, he was named on the bench for ADO.
In the 28th minute, Kishna had to come off the bench early as David Philipp went off injured. By that point, it was 1-1 with Philipp netting in the 13th minute, before Joey Veerman equalised.
Heerenveen then dominated the rest of the match but they could not find the winning goal before the end.
Kishna finished the game as captain as ADO Den Haag gained an encouraging point.
Heerenveen are sixth while ADO Den Haag are 16th.
