klaas milikThe Polish striker is set to complete his €30 million move to Napoli in the next few days and teammate Davy Klaassen has given his views on the transfer.

Speaking forthrightly to De Telegraaf, Klaassen said,  “It’s unfortunate for us, but great for him.

“What I thought when I heard about Arek? That’s a lot of money.”

Unlike Milik, Klaassen turned down a move to Napoli opting to continue his career with Ajax. “When an offer came to me from the Napoli I decided I wouldn’t even listen to how much they were offering. I said immediately that I would stay with Ajax.”

Klaassen who has won three Eredivisie title’s with Ajax and was the 2016 Dutch player of the year will be looking to improve on last year’s runners-up spot as Ajax open their campaign away to Sparta Rotterdam.
