The final was due to take place on the 19th of April in Rotterdam, but due to all football activity being suspended until April 6th, the KNVB has decided to postpone it.
KNVB director of professional football Eric Gudde said in a statement, “The current date for this is now getting too close, given the advice not to train collectively until April 6, plus the time it takes to get the selections back to competition fit.”
The KNVB are also working out how to complete the Eredivisie campaign before June 30th. Gudde said, “After the talks this afternoon, it is now also clear that all competitions in Europe should be done by June 30th. We hope to be able to report more about the different scenarios soon. ”
