De Telegraph believe that the Premier League club have still not agreed a deal with former Feyenoord boss Ronald Koeman to take over, but it could be done within the next two to three days.
Southampton are keen to quickly wrap up the deal as Galatasaray are now reportedly showing interest in Koeman to replace Roberto Mancini, who left last week.
The Dutch newspaper also states Erwin Koeman will follow his brother to Southampton as assistant coach after he left his position of head coach at RKC Waalwijk following their relegation.
More familiar faces could also turn up at Saint Mary’s following Koeman’s appointment with Feyenoord striker Graziano Pelle rumoured to be top of the list to replace Ricky Lambert, who joined Liverpool. The Italian striker would likely cost around €12-15 million.
Sounds like an ideal management plan and excellent player to join the Fantastic club that has so many loyal fans, hopefully the new management will convince star players to stay, why jump ship, they play most games where they wouldn’t if the join other top clubs.
Come on saints let have another excellent season, proud of you all
