Ronald Koeman expects Netherlands friendlies with Wales and Greece this summer to be cancelled. The Oranje boss thinks the Nations League clash with Poland to be the next game for the national team.

Netherlands were due to face Greece on the 28th of May and then Wales on the 6th of June in two friendly matches.

However, Koeman doesn’t think these games will go ahead and believes the Nations League games in September will be the next time he gets to see his Oranje players.

He told AD, “First the league competitions must resume and then we’ll only know if the internationals will take place. Between 1-9 June there is still a slot on the calendar for international matches but I’m taking it as if those games won’t happen. In that case, the Nations League will be the first event again.”

Netherlands face Poland on the 9th of September in the opening game of their group.
