Koeman is the name that most Oranje fans want to take over from the sacked Danny Blind, but speaking to VI, the Everton boss has ruled out leaving the Premier League side for the national team.
He said, “Someone messaged me asking if I was available. What do you think? I replied. What more can i say? I am very comfortable with Everton on a great project where we have only just started. ”
In 2014, Koeman put his name forward to take over from Louis van Gaal, but the then Feyenoord boss was overlooked by the KNVB for Guus Hiddink.
Koeman’s message for the KNVB now is, “They had their chance. Now we are two coaches and a few assistants on. And look where we are with our football. ”
Who does Koeman think should get the job, “I dare not name names.
“But it seems clear that it must be someone who has earned his spurs, a coach with a great track record and experience. Indeed, it is a chore.”

What a screw up from the knvb. His reaction says it all. Its also bad enough that home games are played in Amsterdam whereas the atmosphere in Rotterdam is ten times better and intimidating for the opposition. No tourists there. Dutch football in all aspects does not and should not be conservative or revolve around Ajax and psv.
