The Dutchman only has one year left on his current deal with Southampton and his name has been linked with numerous jobs including the Dutch national team.
However Koeman is in no rush to leave Southampton and after confirming he will be at the club next season he stated there will be talks over a new deal.
He told reporters, “Yes, of course (i will be with Southampton next season)
“I have one year left on my contract.
“I don’t like to talk about individual clubs because everybody has ambition and I have that too. But I signed a three-year contract with Southampton.
“The club has spoken to me about planning for the next five years. We haven’t spoken about a contract, but we will get time to speak about it at the end of the season.”
Koeman joined Southampton in 2014 after leaving Feyenoord and has guided the club to eighth in the Premier League this season.
