Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman would not confirm his interest in signing Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Since Ronald Koeman’s name was put forward for the Barcelona job, the club have been linked with a move for Van de Beek.
Asked at his press conference, Koeman would not be drawn into confirming any interest in the Dutch international, who was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier this year.
He said, “I’m not talking about transfers. We look at positions that we need to improve. I cannot give my opinion about players and whether they are interested in playing here. There is a good player at Ajax, but there are more.”
