Feyenoord have asserted their dominance in the race for third by beating Vitesse 2-0 in Arnhem.

The first half in Arnhem was a cagey affair with neither side creating any chances until Lewis Baker forced Kenneth Vermeer into an excellent save on 37 minutes.
A 0-0 draw seemed on the cards with both sides continuing to struggle after the break, but with 73 minutes on the clock Michiel Kramer finished Rick Kardorps cross from close range to give Feyenoord the lead. Vitesse failed to respond and with three minutes left Bilal Basacikoglu cut in from the right hand side before smashing a low strike into the bottom corner to seal victory.
Feyenoord move back above AZ Alkmaar in third, while Vitesse slip to 6th.
