Netherlands legend Ruud Krol is a big fan of Matthijs de Ligt and thinks he will keep getting better and better.

De Ligt struggled early on at Juventus but impressed with his performances before the corona virus outbreak saw the season stopped.
In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Krol, who played at Napoli for a while, spoke about De Ligt’s development in Italy.
He said, “It is never easy to change habits, even when you are twenty. And in Italy it is even more difficult but he has improved throughout the season, everyone sees that.
“I always enjoy seeing him at work. I am convinced that he has enormous qualities and can get much better. What I find striking is that Sarri for a while used him as left central defender. At Ajax he was much better on the right. “
