Nigel de Jong could be on his way to the MLS, with reports stating La Galaxy are hoping to sign the AC Milan midfielder.

Sky Italia reported last week that AC Milan are hoping to sell the Dutch international as soon as possible, with De Jong spending most of the season so far sitting on the bench.
Leicester City have recently denied interest in the former Ajax star after being linked, but a move to the USA could be on the cards for De Jong, with both Sky Italia and GOAL USA stating LA Galaxy have started talks with the 31-year-old.
De Jong has a contract at AC Milan until 2018, but he could be signed for a low fee, with the Italian club keen to free up his big wages.
