Thomas Lam has left PEC Zwolle to sign for English Championship side Nottingham Forest.

lam pecThe defender’s contract at PEC Zwolle expired this summer but the club had been keen on prolonging his stay with a new deal.

However, PEC Zwolle technical director Gerard Nijkamp has now been forced to give up with Nottingham Forest offering the 22-year-old a deal that the Eredivisie club couldn’t match.

The Finnish international joined PEC Zwolle in 2014 from AZ Alkmaar and made 62 league appearances for the club, scoring four goals. Lam is now due in England to complete his transfer to Nottingham Forest.
