Sam Lammers scored an gave an assist as PSV Eindhoven defeated ADO Den Haag 3-0 in the Hague.

PSV headed into the match keen to take advantage of the fact that AZ dropped points at FC Twente earlier in the evening. They picked the same eleven that defeated Willem II 3-0 last weekend, while ADO Den Haag handed debuts to Jordan Spence, Mark Duffy and Omar Bogle.

After only 17 minutes, PSV had the lead with Sam Lammers netting from the spot after Laurens De Bock handled in the box.

PSV had some great opportunities to add a second but ADO goalkeeper Luuk Koopmans was in excellent form to keep the visitors out for the rest of the first half.

Eventually with twenty minutes to go, PSV made it 2-0 as Ryan Thomas headed in Lammer’s excellent cross. Cody Gakpo then sealed the victory with a fierce strike from close range.

PSV climbs up to third while ADO Den Haag remains second bottom.
