Ben Chilwell completed his move from Leicester City to Chelsea this week, and that leaves Brendan Rodgers looking for a new left-back.
According to Sky Sports, Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico and Atalanta’s Robin Gosens are the club’s primary targets.
Ajax are reportedly demanding a fee of £40 million for the Argentine, which is higher than the €25 million quoted earlier in the summer when Tagliafico was linked with Chelsea. This is more than Leicester City are willing to pay so they are reportedly looking elsewhere.
Tagliafico is also being linked with Barcelona and an unnamed Bundesliga club.
