pelle asdThe Daily Mail are reporting that Leicester boss Nigel Pearson will launch an £8 million move for the Italian forward, who has been linked with a number of clubs recently.

Pelle netted 26 goals in 33 appearances for the Rotterdam club, but he was stripped of the captaincy by former boss Ronald Koeman after disciplinary issues. These issues mean Feyenoord are open to selling their top goalscorer for the right price this summer.

His goalscoring form last season saw him linked with moves to Chelsea, and Barcelona, but more recently its QPR, Southampton, Everton, and even clubs in Qatar who have been credited with interest.

The English newspaper claims Pelle will ask for wages of around £3 million to leave Feyenoord, but would lower these demands for the right club. The 28-year-old  is contracted to Feyenoord until 2017.
