Beenhakker said, ”I saw the friendly game against Wales and I was really surprised by the high level of the match against Norway I really enjoyed it.
”In the past women’s football appeared a little inept but now you can see the progression made in the game where there are now thoughts behind decisions made in the game and that is a joy to watch.
”Naturally people will compare the women’s game with the mens. It is less physical but that is logical.”
