The Dutch international only joined Norwich City from FC Twente last summer, but after the club suffered relegation from the Premier League he has signed for QPR, who have paid €8 million to land the 24-year-old.
Speaking to the official QPR website, Fer said, “It was always my dream to stay in England, in the Premier League. QPR did well last season to come up and the squad is full of top players, so I’m delighted to be here.
“I’m just looking forward to showing what I’m capable of here at QPR.”
Fer scored four times last season in the Premier League, and was also on target for Netherlands at the World Cup against Chile, in the 2-0 group stage win. The midfielder could make his debut on Sunday against Tottenham.
