Liverpool are reportedly not planning a move to sign Dutch defender Sven Botman from Lille this January.

With Virgil van Dijk out for months, Liverpool are reportedly looking at bringing in a centre-back this month.
Rumours had linked the Premier League champions with a move for Botman, but that has been ruled out by Athletic journalist James Pearce.
He took to Twitter to say, “No talks over a deal for Sven Botman. Liverpool not considering a move for him. Sounds like someone is trying to drive up the price/interest in the Lille defender.”
Botman has been one of the stars of the Ligue 1 season so far after his €8 million move to Lille from Ajax last summer.
