Locadia swapped Eindhoven for Brighton in January but only made his debut last weekend after recovering from an injury. The forward scored in a 3-1 victory over Coventry City in the FA Cup.

Speaking to the Brighton website, Locadia said, “It was tough at first because there is a big difference in training with the Netherlands. We train much harder and longer here, but I’m getting used to it.”

This weekend, Locadia will make his home debut in the Premier League when Swansea City visit, “I have seen the matches against Chelsea and West Ham United, so I have already experienced what it is like at the stadium, but in the field you have a different feeling, I enjoyed every second on Saturday.”
