According to Algemeen Dagblad, Jurgen Locadia is set join Hoffenheim on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Hoffenheim have been looking to sign a striker this summer after Joelinton left to join Newcastle United. Kasper Dolberg was a target but he now appears on his way to OGC Nice.

According to AD, Hoffenheim have now turned their attentions to Jurgen Locadia and are close to sealing a loan deal for the Dutchman.

The former PSV striker joined Brighton in 2016 for €16 million but has not been able to succeed in England. Locadia has made 43 appearances in England, scoring six goals.

In Germany he would join up with Dutch coach Alfred Schreuder.
