Dutch midfielder Hedwiges Maduro is open to a return to Ajax should the chance present itself in the future.

The 29-year-old is currently playing for PAOK Salonika, and although he admitted he is happy in Greece, he could be open to a return to Netherlands should the chance arise.
Speaking to Ajax showtime, Maduro said on a return to the Eredivisie, “But first a club must be concrete before I think about it.”
On a possible return to Ajax, where he started his career, Maduro added, “That’s hard to say in football, but I am and remain a fan of Ajax. The chance that I will ever return is always there. I grew up at Ajax and I know how it should be played. That never leaves you.”
Maduro left Ajax for spells in Spain with Valencia and Sevilla before moving to PAOK in January of this year. However the midfielder has only made 13 league appearances for the Greek club since then.
