Maduro joined Sevilla in 2012, and although he made 30 appearances for the club in his first campaign, this season the Dutchman was left out of the La Liga sides squad.
Sevilla have allowed the 28-year-old to leave Spain on a free, and he will move to Greece on a three and a half year deal to join up with Dutch coach Huub Stevens, who is in charge of PAOK.
Speaking to Voetbal International after the deal was announced, Maduro spoke of his eagerness to get back into regular first team football.
He said, “After the last six months, it is important that I play every week. That’s something at the end in Spain i obviously missed tremendously.”
“Huub Stevens has obviously played a big role in my choice. We have not worked together before, but obviously know each other from the Netherlands and the matches.”
PAOK currently sit 2nd in the Greek league, and are still in the Europa League after qualifying second in the group which contained AZ Alkmaar.
