Donyell Malen has committed his future to PSV Eindhoven by signing a new five-year contract with the club.

Malen is first-choice striker at PSV Eindhoven this season after the departure of Luuk de Jong to Sevilla. However, he was coming into the final year of his contract at the club.

The 20-year-old has now ended any speculation over a departure by signing a new five-year contract.

PSV technical manager John de Jong told the club’s website, “Donyell has made great strides in a short time and it is clear that he has not yet reached his ceiling. He is fast, skilled and focused. That is a combination that you do not often encounter. ”

Malen started in the academy of Ajax but via Arsenal he ended up with PSV Eindhoven in 2017. He has since made 50 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals.
