strootman romaStrootman joined Roma in the summer from PSV, and immediately won a place in the Serie A sides starting eleven, and has repaid his coach’s faith with three goals, and five assists.

After 15 games, Roma currently sit 2nd in the table, and only three points behind leaders Juventus, with Strootman one of the side’s outstanding performers.

Manchester United are having a horrible season so far, with the Premier League champions sitting ninth, and out of the title race according to a number of pundits.

United’s boss David Moyes is reportedly planning a spending spree in January, with Strootman one of the clubs top targets.

However Strootman’s agent Chiel Dekker has ruled out any chance of the midfielder leaving Roma, and stated his client is happy in Italy.

He told Sky Sports, “Kevin is happy in Rome and his intention is to stay here for a long time. Roma is working on a new project with a new team. Kevin has quickly adapted to his new club.”
