According to various reports in England, Manchester City has agreed a deal to sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth.

BBC reporter Kris Temple stated that Manchester City’s offer of £41 million had been accepted by Bournemouth. This news was then confirmed by Sky Sports, The Telegraph and more outlets.

Pep Guardiola has been looking for a left-footed centre-back for his defence and has now decided on Ake. The Dutch international will now have to undergo his medical and agree personal terms, which should not be an issue.

Ake came through Feyenoord’s academy but left for Chelsea and then ended up at Bournemouth in 2017. He made 121 appearances for the club but could not prevent their relegation this season.
