sneijmexItalian website Tuttomercatoweb are reporting as an exclusive that Manchester United are preparing a major move for the 30-year-old in January with talks between the club and player already started.

Sneijder has always stated that he is happy at Galatasaray, but there has been problems for the Dutchman recently, with the club paying his wages late, while he was also unhappy at being dropped to the bench by now sacked coach Cesare Prandelli.

The midfielder has a contract in Turkey until 2016, and there was supposed to be talks over an extension, but they have not started yet and Manchester United may look to take advantage. Manchester United may have to bid excess of €15 million to try and tempt Galatasaray to sell the ex-Inter Milan star.
