The Premier League giants have been linked with the 18-year-old since he broke into the Ajax first team last season.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Manchester United chairman Ed Woodword is exploring options to sign Kluivert in the summer. The report states that the club are willing to offer Daley Blind in exchange for the forward.

Blind left Ajax for Manchester United back in 2014 but has fallen out of favour this season under Jose Mourinho, making only five Premeir League appearances. The defender recently extended his contract for a year, but that was only to stop the Dutch international from leaving on a free this summer.

Kluivert is in negotiations with Ajax over a new contract and stated last weekend that he doesn’t want to leave Amsterdam until he lifts the Eredivisie Schaal. However, until a new contract is signed the speculation will continue.
