Juventus signed the 20-year-old centre-back from Ajax last summer for a fee close to €75 million. However, De Ligt has been in and out of the Serie A giants first team.
Manchester United were in the race to sign the defender before he chose Juventus, and according to ESPN, the Premier League side are still interested in bringing him to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils hope that Juventus are willing to let the Netherlands international go and are even willing to offer Paul Pogba in exchange. The French midfielder reportedly wants a return to Turin.
