Over the past weeks it has been reported that the 21-year-old has held talks with both Liverpool and PSG, while Manchester United had contacted PSV over their interest, but had yet to make a concrete move.
That has now changed with AD reporting that talks between Depay and Manchester United officials, including Louis van Gaal, have taken place. The Premier league giants have an advantage over their rivals for the wingers signature, as Depay has already worked with Van Gaal in the national team, with both men giving glowing reports on each other to the media after the World Cup.
The €25 million price tag is no issue for United, and a deal could be completed quickly should the Manchester club pursue further talks.
